Handcrafted VT25 using the deluxe input driver topology. Builder states: Using a type 37 [slightly lower gain, I use this with oxide filament output tubes] or type 76 for the input stage direct coupled to a 6SN7GTB for the driver stage. Angela copper foil coupling caps, selected and matched Allen-Bradley carbon composition resistors, combination Cerafine and Sprague Atom caps for the main reservoir and Nichicon Muse for cathode bypasses. Mil spec potted power transformer and choke, tube rectified by a 5R4, AC filaments with hum bucking pots.Shown here with the very rare 410 vintage tubes. |
